Sheila Blige was born a long time ago (or so rumour has it), in Shrewsbury, England.  Named Martyn at birth, he

soon realised that was a mistake!  After then moving to Blackpool at the age of 23, Martyn became Sheila and opened up two hairdressing salons, before moving to Benidorm,  where the unique ‘SHEILA BLIGE’ made her

first appearance.  A bar landlady here in glorious Benidorm, Sheila soon became a firm favourite with

all the customers, and left the bar behind to seek

the dizzy heights of fame and fortune on the high

living cabaret circuit.  Soon after being spotted

by Jordan Rivers, Sheila was invited to become

one of the original Ladyboys at the Rich Bitch

Showbar, and featured in BBC 1’s ‘Escape to the

Sun’, alongside all the rest of the Rich Bitch
